Open discussion with panel comprising two teachers, new player, and moderator.

Plan to attend and bring your ideas. This is not just a teacher issue, but an important issue for the future of bridge!

Planned topics ~

  • Lessons Anytime!  When there’s a session, there’s a lesson".

  • Ideas for self-teaching materials for new players. What are the bare essentials needed to get people playing quickly?

  • How can we attract new players in singles or small groups? Where can we find possible new players?

  • Developing IN Games for new players. The ACBL mandates that all units must hold a sectional. Should it mandate that all units must sponsor and support at least one ongoing sanctioned beginner game?

Teachers, Club Owners, Unit Officials, and interested parties are invited to attend and actively participate.

  • Using this measure, 14 of District 20's units ~ or 70% ~ are small units.
